Admission
Admission to the Academy is made possible through the generous support of our sponsorship partners. All trainees at the Academy are sponsored by companies from the oil and gas industry.
Sponsorship includes;
- Lodging
- Tuition
- Training material
- International Qualifications
The program includes Technical training along with Health, Safety and Environment studies.
Invitations to apply are posted in the national newspapers (dailies) and on this website, each year.
From the years, 2017 to 2021, there have been 90 recipients who received scholarships awarded by Exxon Mobil PNG, Oil Search and Kumul Petroleum combined.
Admission Requirements
As admission to the Academy is made possible through the generous support of our sponsorship partners, each sponsorship programme has its own set of requirements that each candidate/applicant must have.
However, Kumul Petroleum Academy guidelines provide for the following minimum requirements.
To apply for a specific organisation funded programme please click on the offers below to access the requirements when they become available (See status):
- Download the KPA Application Form 2023 by clicking on the button below.
- Save it onto your Laptop, Tablet or a Smartphone and fill the details in electronically, and email the completed Application Form with all the requirements given on the information sheet to enquiry@kpa.ac.pg. Handwritten will not be accepted.
- Scholarships for the year 2024 are now OPEN.
